Many in the area have spent months driving past the plaza where Route 60 Liquor sits on Brandon Blvd. and have read the signage ‘Qdoba Coming Soon.’ Soon, it finally arrived as Qdoba kicked off its presence within the community by raising $1,400 for the Brandon Area Youth Soccer League (BASYL) and finally opening its doors in March.
Director of Franchise, Wade Gosnell and his partners already own ten Qdoba locations scattered around Tampa and Orlando which includes the Riverview location on Big Bend Rd. Seasoned with experience the Brandon location is welcoming opportunities to become a presence within the community through community involvement.
Qdoba is known for its made-to-order signature burritos and for this summer only, the Brandon location will offer for a limited time the delicious Summer Fresh Mango Salad with chicken, cucumbers, mango and a cilantro-lime dressing. What Gosnell refers to as, “a good summertime salad.”
Key to its service vision both in Riverview and now in Brandon is, “energy, speed consistency and attitude,” Gosnell explained. “We’re not planning on going anywhere, “he added.
Located at 1013 W. Brandon Blvd. the Brandon Qdoba will be open Monday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. For more information, call 689-9998.
It is currently fully staffed but offered the Brandon community 16 new jobs. Familiar faces will be Erwin Gurion, manager analyst and Darysse Croes, marketing analyst for Riverview and Brandon. Any ideas on community involvement opportunities, she is the go to girl.
In Riverview, stop by the Qdoba located at 13165 U.S. Hwy 30 S., on the corner of Big Bend Rd. For more information, call 741-9396.
