Homes by WestBay in Starling will be the Showcase Home during this year’s Spring Parade of Homes. Visit a participating builder in FishHawk Ranch during the Spring Parade of Homes to vote for your favorite birdhouse.
The 2012 Spring Parade of Homes in FishHawk Ranch is going to the birds….literally.
Newland Communities is teaming up with seven area homebuilders to create a fun contest that will benefit our fine feathered friends. Each builder will team up with a local school or civic group to design and construct a birdhouse, which can be a representation of the school or organization, have a FishHawk or Tampa theme or just be a really cool design.
The birdhouses will be on display during the Parade and people can vote for their favorite. At the end of the Parade, the team with the most votes will win $1,000 for their school or organization. And the birds? They benefit because all the birdhouses will be placed in the parks in FishHawk Ranch.
The builders participating in the contest are Beazer Homes, Cardel Homes, Ryland Homes, David Weekley Homes, Homes by WestBay, Arthur Rutenberg Homes and Ashton Woods Homes.
The birdhouses won’t be the only homes on display.
The 2012 Parade, sponsored by the Tampa Bay Builders Association, is scheduled for Saturday, March 17th – Sunday, April 1st. is a showcase of local builders and their premiere models throughout the Tampa Bay region. Sixteen beautifully decorated homes will be on display in FishHawk Ranch.

Prices range from $100,000 to more than one million dollars.

The Spring Parade of Homes’ Showcase Home will be hosted by FishHawk Ranch this year, built by Homes by WestBay in the Starling neighborhood. The model home, located at 5311 Sanderling Ridge Dr, boasts more than 4,000 square feet with a Hollywood-style pool with an infinity edge. The technology features of the home are enough to make ‘The Jetsons’ jealous. Many aspects of the home can be controlled from anywhere at any time.
