As it turns out, the road to London does go through Brandon. We just found out that Chris will be making a very brief stop in town this weekend. Brandon Sports and Aquatics (405 Beverly Blvd in Brandon), where it all began, has been gracious enough to offer to host a short reception this Saturday, July 7 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM to congratulate him on one of the most amazing performances in USA diving history at the Olympic trials last week and to show him just how much support he will have from his hometown when he is in London.
If you happen to have bought a Team Colwill tee shirt to support his Olympic Trials effort, please wear it. We want to get a group shot. If not we will have a limited additional supply on hand.
It is open to the public, so everyone is welcome. Please pass the word. If you have some time on Saturday please come out so we can give him a send off that he will never forget!
