As the economy begins to improve, people are getting out and supporting local businesses.
A good place to shop, dine and bank is at River Hills Plaza, located at the intersection of Lithia Pinecrest Rd. and Lynx Paw Trl., across from Lithia Springs Elementary School in Valrico.
According to Randy Raymond, owner of the plaza, “The River Hills Plaza reflects the type of people who live in the area.”
Within the plaza, you will find professionals (attorneys, physicians, insurance agents) and retailers and vendors devoted to everything from education, health care, security, electronics, beauty (both the human and four legged) to physical fitness.” Raymond added, “It is a well rounded place to shop local from local people.”
You literally can start your day at River Hills Plaza at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast at The Brunchery and end your day at 10 p.m. with a fine Italian meal, complete with wine at Angelina’s. In between, have your hair cut and styled, work out, eat lunch, visit the dentist or chiropractor, get a massage or skin treatment, bank, get your iPhone serviced and even get the dog groomed. Students can come to the plaza for tutoring or dance classes.
Some of the tenants, such as Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union, have been in the plaza since it opened. Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union is now into its second long-term lease. Some of the tenants are new to the area. Austin Pennington and Bernard Davis are owners of iGeeksRule, a company which can customize and repair Apple iPhones, iPads and any other Apple or Mac products.
Pennington said, “We came to River Hills Plaza because it is a great location in a tight knit community surrounded by great schools with easy access.” Davis added, “Business has been good here at River Hills Plaza. Mr. Raymond has really helped with promotion and advertising our business.”
Also new to the plaza are Karma Yoga and Fitness, Opa Cafe, Evolution Dynamic Fitness Training and La Petite Pooch Pet Salon. Raymond said, “Our tenants are locally owned and operated. Most of them are small family businesses.”
So if you want to support local businesses owned by local residents, stop by River Hills Plaza and check out all that is new and all that is established at this fine local plaza. For information on leasing opportunities, please contact Raymond at 293-2823.
