“WWII Veterans need Guardians”

World War II veterans need guardians to accompany them on a day trip to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C.

Honor Flight of West Central Florida is flying our EIGHTH Mission on 10/30/12. We will be taking 75 WWII veterans on a chartered aircraft to Washington, D.C. The WWII veterans fly for FREE.
This will complete our flying season for 2012 and we need Guardians to honor, pay tribute, care for, and be part of a historic event.

Think of it, you will have the opportunity of a lifetime. You will be in the presence of a history maker for an entire day. These WWII veterans saved the world 67 years ago and then helped to build the greatest nation the world has ever known.

A guardian donates $400.00 to cover their cost of the day trip. This will change our life and the life of your WWII veteran forever.

Time is of the essence; only 1.2 million of the 16 million WWII veterans remain. Over 700 pass away each day. In the greater Tampa Bay Area we have over 28,000 WWII veterans. We have over 500 on our waiting list. The average age of a WWII veteran is 88 years old.

Go to our website: www.honorflight wcf.org, download a guardian application, fill it out, and mail it in with your $400.00 donation. Call 727-498-6079, if you have questions.

Please do this now as we fly in less than 40 days.
