If you are engaged and in the midst of planning your wedding, mark your calendar and be sure to attend the Bridal Bash at The Regent on Wednesday, February 27 from 6-9 p.m.. The Regent is located at 6437 Watson Rd. in Riverview.
Flawless Occasions and The Regent are hosts of this bridal show with a twist. According to Kristen Kerr, Executive Director of The Regent, “This is not your typical boring show. Think bridal show meets cocktail hour.”
The event is free to brides and their guests as long as they RSVP at least two days prior to the event. Otherwise, admission is $10 at the door. Each bride will receive a swag bag with all of the vendor information.
Beth Carrick of Flawless Occasions said, “There will be vendors who specialize in everything from photography, linens, wedding cakes, lighting, invitations, health/beauty and wedding gowns.” Kerr said, “It is a wonderful way for local businesses who specialize in anything wedding related to meet and interact with potential clients in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.” Kerr added, “This also affords brides the opportunity to see and learn about the largest event facility in the community.”
Brides and their guests will be entertained by John Strandberg, owner and DJ of DJ by CJ, a Brandon resident. Attendees can nosh on delectable appetizers provided by a variety of caterers. Kerr said, “This event has a ‘girl’s night out’ vibe. It is a spin on the traditional bridal show, something that you do not see too often. Kerr added, “It is on a much smaller scale than the average bridal show with a more intimate and personal feel with a select group of vendors.”
You can make this a great night out with friends and family. There will be lots of great raffle prizes, and all pre-registered guests will be automatically entered into the raffle. You must be present to win.
