Summerfield Crossings Golf Club will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary on Thursday, February 28.
Located at 13050 Summerfield Blvd. just off of Big Bend Rd., the club offers a full driving range, putting green and chipping green for the public’s enjoyment.
Jason Blanchard, General Manager of Summerfield Crossings Golf Club and President of Brighton Golf Partners has been in the golf business for 20 years. He came to Summerfield to run the day- to-day operations when the Blanchards’ purchased the club. Jeffrey “Doc” Blanchard is the current CEO of Brighton Golf Partners and was a practicing Optometrist for over 30 years. Doc has been a Tampa resident for 20 years with his wife Marianne, who is the Vice President of Brighton Golf Partners. Jason said, “We are a family-owned and operated golf club that strives for the happiness of its customers and endeavors to make everyone feel at home.” He emphasized that because they are truly a family owned business, you will always find at least one family member at the course during the day.
Summerfield Crossings is open to the public, although membership packages are available. Memberships have their advantages and there are options to fit the needs and budgets of everyone.
The club is available for organizing golf tournaments and groups for as little as eight or up to 144 people. Whether it is for charity or just for enjoying a great day of golfing, they ensure that you’ll have a great time.
After a day on the green you can visit Doc’s Grille, a casual dining full-service restaurant, which is open for lunch on Monday through Saturday from 11a.m.-3p.m., as well as Sunday mornings for brunch from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Friday nights for dinner from 5p.m.- 8 p.m. Dinner on Fridays include a variety of delicious menu items including prime rib, chicken Marsala, and grouper. All meals include a cup of soup or side salad and an iced tea or coffee. Prices range from $11 to $17.
Accommodations are also offered for any type of event including weddings, banquets and birthday parties. Summerfield Crossings can meet the needs of any party or special event that you are looking to organize.
