Susan Jordan of Valrico is a wonderful and creative artist who is designing and making one-of-a-kind cigar box purses called “Humadorables by Susan.” You might know Jordan from “Whimsical Walls and Murals by Susan.” She has been creating lovely murals since 1999.

Jordan is a vivacious and creative artist who simply loves what she does. Her work is beautiful and fabulous. Jordan said, “When I am not busy painting murals, I love making purses out of beautiful cigar boxes. I am fascinated with them.”

Jordan added, “When people first saw the cigar box purses, everyone would say “oh they are so adorable,” so that is how I came up with the name- Humadorables by Susan.

While Jordan has many purses that she has created, she will make custom purses and adorn them with anything from your favorite sports team to photos of your children or pets. The purses make a great gift for Mother’s Day!

Jordan said, “These purses are for the girly girl who doesn’t want the same thing as everyone else. The cigar purses are lovely little objects of art. The box itself is beautiful even before I adorn them.”

The prices for the purses range from $55 to $75 depending on the size. You can purchase Jordan’s cigar box purses at several local retailers including Lena Maxey, The White Rabbit and Ybor’s Rudely Elegant. The purses are also available for purchase at www.humadorablesbysusan.com or by calling Jordan at 655-8003.

An avid artist, Jordan is a long- time member of the Brandon League of Fine Arts. She is also active in art show and festival circuit, so look for her at the upcoming Manatee Festival of the Arts (March 9 and 10), the 5th Annual Arts in the Park in Carrollwood (March 16 and 17), the 5th Annual Winthrop Arts Festival (March 23 and 24), the Temple Terrace Women’s Club and Spring Boutique (April 5) and the Fancy Flea in Lakeland on April 6.
