If you like Southern Gospel or Contemporary Christian music, then you will not want to miss the concert tour of Nashville Music Hall of Fame members, Richard Kiser and Charlie McCoy. Kiser and McCoy will bring their concert tour to the United Methodist Church of Sun City Center, located at 1210 Del Webb Blvd. W. in Sun City Center, on Friday, March 22 at 7 p.m.
Advance purchase tickets are $10. Tickets purchased at the door are $15.
Kiser is a solo finger-style guitarist who has devoted his talent to Jesus Christ. His style of music ranges from Southern Gospel to Contemporary Christian. Kiser has won over 70 major awards including “Instrumentalist of the Decade.” He was a three time winner of “Artist of the Year.” He was elected to the Country Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame (Branson, Missouri) in 2009. Kiser has shared concerts with Roy Clark, the Oak Ridge Boys and many more.
Charlie McCoy is the quintessential Nashville studio musician which means he has played on dozens of hit record. He is proficient on a wide variety of musical instruments including the harmonica. McCoy has been elected to seven Halls Of Fame including the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2009. He was Music Director on the hit TV program, Hee Haw for 19 years. The McCoy’s can be heard playing on recordings of Roy Orbison, Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Chet Atkins and many more.
