Spring time in Florida is the best time of the year for an outside, family friendly event. Primrose School of Bloomingdale is taking advantage of the glorious weather and will hold its 2nd Annual Spring Fling on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m.-noon. The Spring Fling will take place at Primrose School of Bloomingdale located at 1280 Bloomingdale Ave. in Valrico. Parking is available at Palms Community Church which is located next door.
This year’s Spring Fling will be bigger and better and will abound with activities for the whole family. The Spring Fling is free and open to the public. There will be tons of activities for children and adults alike. For the children, they will love activities such as face painting, the art table and dance floor. For both adults and kids, there will be vendors on site including Usborne Books by Christine Ans, Victoria’s School of Dance and 31 by Lea Garbett. Food for the event will be provided by Fluker Family Catering.
Primrose School of Bloomingdale’s Spring Fling is a fundraiser. All funds raised will be donated to great organizations. Locally, a portion of the money raised will be donated to All Children’s Hospital Guild Brandon Branch. A portion of the funds raised will also go to the Primrose Children’s Foundation which has designated the non-profit, Reach Out and Read as the recipient of funds raised this year.
According to franchise owner, Ketan Gohil, “Our Spring Fling is a family friendly, fun event that benefits a local organization. Reach Out and Read also works locally.” Gohil added, “We want to continue to build relationships with the community and local non-profits”
Community service is a cornerstone principle of Primrose Schools. “Our Helping Hands Program is all about nurturing the giving spirit in both our students and our teachers. It is all about being a part of the community.”
So come out to Primrose School of Bloomingdale’s 2nd Annual Spring Fling and have some good family fun and help raise funds for two worthy organizations.
Primrose School of Bloomingdale is an accredited private preschool that provides an educational childcare experience for children from infant to after school. The school is accepting applications for summer camp and for the fall for all ages.
