Building character for a lifetime is just one of the advantages children and adults alike will get from attending PRO Martial Arts, Brandon’s newest martial arts school. PRO Martial Arts is located at 119 W. Bloomingdale Ave. in the Olde Town Pizza Center at the corner of Bloomingdale Ave. and John Moore Rd.
Owner, Gary Wagner said, “At PRO Martial Arts, we are about keeping kids safe and building great citizens! We offer an exclusive program called ARMOR which is comprised of 12 weeks of Anti-Bullying material and 12 weeks of Predator Protection.” Wagner added, “Character Education is another important aspect of our system. Every month we focus on a topic such as respect, manners, confidence, discipline and positive attitude that will help build character and leadership skills.”
PRO Martial Arts also offers adult martial arts classes along with fitness kickboxing.
The PRO Martial Arts system is a cohesive blend of the best elements of traditional Korean martial arts. It incorporates elements of Tang Soo Do, Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. The system provides students the opportunity to develop a potent blend of strength, flexibility, coordination and balance while learning effective and proven self-defense techniques in a fun and energizing environment.
Wagner said, “What really sets us apart is our ARMOR program and character education curriculum. Our ARMOR program was developed with the help of law enforcement and child psychologists.” Wagner added, “We teach our kids to be confident and assertive while staying smart to safely deal with a potentially serious situation.”
PRO Martial Arts recently held a grand opening on Saturday, August 3. As part of the grand opening, PRO Martial Arts is collecting non-perishable food items for ECHO of Brandon.
