Choosing a contractor for repair work or installation work of any kind can be a job in and of itself. There is usually worry about whether the company is reputable, responsible and trustworthy. Design One Garage Doors of Ruskin is here to tell you that if you have garage door work, that worry can be put aside.
Arthur DeAngelis, owner of Design One Garage Doors, said that his company differs from others because of the excellent customer service they give. “There are a lot of people out there that can service a garage door, but we specialize in personal service, fair pricing and being there when we say we’re going to be there,” DeAngelis stated.
DeAngelis’ background was in running publicly held restaurant companies, but he came to a point in his life when he was ready for a change. Design One Garage Doors first opened 15 years ago and was purchased by DeAngelis ten years ago. “I purchased the business, and in the first couple of years, we doubled the business and then doubled it again,” he said. Learning the business as he went along from his staff of four, DeAnglis is now a licensed garage door contractor as well as owner.
The company services southeast Hillsborough County and services include sales and repair of garage doors and garage doors openers as well as warranty work. They also sell a product called Skeet’r Beat’r which is a motorized roll down screen that fits the garage door. It is used in addition to a garage door and allows light and air in but keeps the bugs out.
DeAngelis says that he doesn’t need to spend large amounts of money on advertising because most of his business comes from word-of-mouth. “Our customers recommend us to other people. My customers fill up my schedule by referrals,” he shared.
