Newsome’s Daulton Donini Commits To Play Ball At Flagler College

Friends, teammates, coaches, teachers and family squeezed their way into the Newsome High School principal’s conference room last month to celebrate a special early-signing ceremony with senior baseball standout Daulton Donini in the spotlight. With the spring season yet to play out, Donini signed his intent to attend Flagler College on a baseball scholarship.

“We are all very proud of you,” said Newsome Athletic Director Paul Lindstrom.

Thankful for all the support and encouragement, Daulton said that after his visit to the school, meeting his new coaches and team, the decision to continue his education and athletic career at Flagler College in St. Augustine was the right one.

“I am looking forward to playing ball at the next level,” Daulton said. “Everyone was welcoming and I am sure the program is a great fit for me.”
