Market Day
On Sunday, March 2 over 30 vendors will assemble in FishHawk Ranch at Park Square from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Market Day. This free event draws out residents from FishHawk Ranch and surrounding communities to come check out local artisans and meet and greet their neighbors. Vendors vary from month to month but fresh local produce, breads, cheeses, jellies, jams, jewelry and more are guaranteed to offer something for everyone.
Food Truck Rally
The Tampa Bay Food Truck Rally is bringing 15 food trucks to the Osprey Club parking lot located at 5721 Osprey Ridge Dr. for a local Food Truck Rally on Saturday, March 8 from 5-9 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Prices of each food truck vary, but the items are worth every dollar. DJ Jake Dela Cruz will also be on scene.
The Tampa Bay Food Truck Rally and FishHawk Ranch Homeowners Association have partnered with Seeds of Hope Inc. charity and will be collecting donations at this rally.
Parking for this family friendly event will be available across the street at Bevis Elementary. Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are welcome and seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
Chili Cook-Off
The Eighth Annual FishHawk Ranch Chili Cook Off is taking place on Saturday, March 22 this year from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in FishHawk Ranch at Park Square.
Those who love to cook can pay $15 cash or check payable to FishHawk Ranch HOA to enter their award-winning chili. Community members can pay $5 to get a spoon and tasting cups to taste as much chili as they’d like and cast their votes. The first ten chefs that enter the competition will receive a special gift. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place and cash prizes will be awarded to the winner of the People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice awards.
Music on the Move will be providing a DJ to liven up the competition and a variety of beer will be available for purchase. The chili chefs will begin serving at 11:30 a.m. and the voting will end at 1:30 p.m. with the awards ceremony taking place at 1:45 p.m.
