Staff Report
Lend Tech Corp, a mortgage brokerage that specializes in acquiring the lowest interest rates and closing costs possible for its clients, has opened a new office in the South Shore area. It has been in business since 2009. The Principal Loan Originator, America Lamorell, has been an integral part of the housing market since 1992 as a FHA underwriter. She brings 20 plus years of experience to the area, specializing in FHA first time home buyer loans, new construction loans, reverse mortgages, home loans for foreign nationals, condo financing and land and commercial lending.
Lend Tech prefers to pre-qualify and/or pre-approve all buyers for a mortgage loan prior to having them sign a real estate contract. “It’s best to know how much the buyer qualifies for beforehand, than to sign contacts and have realtors run around and put lots of legwork in to the transaction and then the transaction has to be cancelled midstream due to the buyer not having been properly pre-approved,” said Lamorell.
Becoming pre-approved is a free service that Lend tech offers so that its local realtors are free to do what they do best: stimulate the local economy by selling homes. Lamorell also refers her own pre-approved customers to local real estate agents as a good part of her business is coming from the local Hispanic community where new buyers reach out to her directly. She is bilingual and as such, is assisting the bilingual local customer base with the possibility of being a step closer to the American dream, that of home ownership, and also acts as a translator when needed.
Realtors can schedule Ms. Lamorell as a guest speaker in their offices to train their agents on a variety of loan programs that agents can market for and attain positive results. She is a member of the Riverview Woman’s Club and invites all women to participate and seek membership.
Lend Tech Corp’s hours are Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and can be reached at 634-7480 or online at www.lendtechfinancial.com. It is located at 16621 US Hwy 301 S. #107 in Wimauma.
