Jacob Fowler Memorial Scholarship Announces 2014 Recipients
The Jacob Fowler Memorial Scholarship was founded in memory of Jacob Fowler, a former instructor at Bell Shoals Baptist Church that passed away. Susan and John Prestridge of the Tutoring Club of Valrico were friends of the Fowler’s for more than 20 years and started this as a $500 scholarship for a graduating senior from Bell Shoals Baptist Church. The Fowler family has graciously donated additional scholarships the past two years and over $3,000 in scholarships have been awarded in the last three years. Ladies Day Car Skills Class at Christian Brothers Automotive
On Saturday, June 21 at 1 p.m., Christian Brothers Automotive is hosting a 40 minute long Ladies’ Day Car Skills Familiarization Class to educate women of all ages how to check fluids, tire pressure, spare tire location and perform basic car maintenance. Family Game Night at Mathnasium
