Consignment shops offer a convenient means to get rid of unwanted items, buy new ones and save and earn money. Thankfully, there are plenty of local consignment stores that cater to the variety of items to be sold or bought.

Owned and run by a mother and her two daughters, Second Hand Savvy’s has an assortment of men and women’s clothing. Shopper Dana Hollfelder gushed, “Best, best, best clothing store ever! I am never disappointed when I visit. Whether you are searching for articles of clothing that are already in style or are a person that makes your own trend, this is the go-to store.” Second Hand Savvy’s is located at 210 S Kings Ave.
In business for 30 years and voted Brandon’s best consignment store for 12 consecutive years, Pendy Consignment is the oldest and largest consignment store in Brandon. It re-sells clothing for men, women and children as well as accessories. It is located at 640 Oakfield Dr. in the Atlantic Village Shopping Center.
Christian music provides soft ambiance as shoppers peruse the display of women’s clothing and accessories at Agape Chic Boutique at 151 E. Bloomingdale Ave. Friends and co-owners Dena Ham and Stacy Ulrey Regan opened this store as a business venture and way to give to the community. Its philosophy is found in 1 John 4:19, “We love because God first loved us.”
Charisma Consignment specializes in plus-sized women’s clothing. Owner Joys Ramos, proud to be a curvy woman herself, wanted to open a store where sizes 12 and up could buy inexpensive, stylish clothing. She also sells fashionable handbags and jewelry for women of all sizes. The store is located at 110 Lithia Pinecrest Rd. Ste. 1.
Sassy and Classy Consignment Boutique recently opened at 1925 W. Brandon Blvd. in the Chili’s shopping center. Here, customers will find upscale women’s clothing, purses, jewelry and shoes with many designer names available, from Land’s End to Gucci.
