Ripping phone books, snapping clipboards, and showing off his muscles, Mega Man will be making an appearance at this year’s Back 2 School Bash being held by Life Church at FishHawk. This family friendly event is not only entertaining, but also beneficial for students and families preparing for the school year.
The Back 2 School Bash is being held to prepare kids and get them excited for the upcoming school year. Between raffle giveaways, bouncy houses, and food, families from all over the community can join in on the excitement. The event is free to the public and will be taking place on Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
“We do this event to help families and kids in the community,” said Pastor Eddie. Backpacks full of school supplies are given away and medical doctors are available for physicals. Everything done at this event is aimed toward the preparation of students for the new school year. Some of the activities will keep kids busy and amused the entire time; bouncy houses will be set up and Mega Man will be doing a presentation. Mega Man goes to schools and talks to students about bullying, while also showing off his incredible strength.
Since 2006, Life Church at FishHawk has been holding this event for the community. It provides a fun, interactive way to prepare students for the school year.
“We would love for everyone to come out and join us,” said Pastor Eddie, “It’s our way of giving back to the community.”
It is a growing church and has much to offer not only for members but for the community as well.
