The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce congratulates the area businesses that have been named 2014 Small Business of the Year (SBYA) Award winners.
Nearly 300 guests celebrated the winners that were announced during a gala held in October inside the Sheraton Tampa East Hotel’s Grande Ballroom.
The winners were:
Dynavistics, Inc., (1-5 employees), which offers a full spectrum of enterprise level software solutions.
Atlas Professional Services, Inc. (6-15 employees), a full-service partner for a company’s IT-related demands. From ongoing IT support to website updates, server hosting and more, its extensive service offerings allow it to provide businesses with the precise solutions it requires.
Livingstone Academy (16 plus employees), premier private schools for students with learning disabilities with locations in Seffner, Valrico and Riverview.
Yard Guards On Doody, LLC (Home Based Business), is the premier pet waste clean-up and removal service serving Hillsborough County and beyond.
Annually, this award’s gala recognizes and honors small businesses within the Greater Brandon area that have demonstrated leadership, positive growth and development, creativity, and integrity in operating a business, as well as a commitment to community services.
The 2014 event is the 33rd annual celebration of local businesses that included a video tribute to the 12 finalists and past winners.
Cheresee Rehart, owner of Yard Guards On Doody said, “Winning the SBYA was not only a victory for my poop scooping company, Yard Guards On Doody, but for all poop scooping companies current and not yet existing. By winning small business of the year I hope that I will be sending a positive message to other scooping companies that yes, you can be successful in many ways scooping poop.”
