Annual Easter Eggscavenger Hunt At Hydro Harvest Farms
Hydro Harvest Farms, located at 1101 Shell Point Rd. E. in Ruskin, will hold its annual Easter Eggscavenger Hunt. This year it will be on Saturday, March 28 from 11 a.m. -3 p.m. This is a great event for kids of all ages. All of the children receive a list of items (scavenger hunt list) they have to create (crafts), find (farm items) and play (games). At each station, when they complete the task, they receive a picture that matches the task. When they do all the items on the hunt and collect proof, they trade it in for candy. During the scavenger hunt, parents get to stay with their child the whole time to help out. Crafts are all earth friendly as in potting a plant and making birdfeeders. Tasks include answering gardening questions and finding farm items, and games include Easter Egg Roll and more. There will be food and drinks for sale which helps to support this event.
Volunteers are the most important people that make this event happen. If you can volunteer, contact 645-6574.
