Joel Walters, owner/operator of Nozzle Nose, Exterior Cleaning Service, is pleased with his first year in business for himself.
“The business has exceeded expectations so far,” said Walters.
Walters started Nozzle Nose Inc. in March of 2014. He was focusing on pressure washing both residential and commercial properties as well as offering window and gutter cleaning services. As his first year went on, he also discovered another needed service, purchased some additional equipment and added the service of cleaning and sealing pavers.
“Cleaning and sealing pavers around pools, walkways and driveways has become a big part of the services I perform,” said Walters.
Nozzle Nose focuses on the southern part of Hillsborough County, mostly from Brandon southward, but has some accounts in Tampa as well as farther north. Walters was raised in Wimauma so having a business in this area was a natural fit for him. For most of his jobs so far he has been doing them himself but has the manpower resources available for bigger jobs if the need arises.
Walters explains his two peak seasons are spring and fall. Residential and many commercial properties get spruced up as part of spring cleaning projects.
“Spring cleaning is huge and keeps the phone ringing. Lots of folks also like to freshen up their property’s appearance in time for visiting family members around the holidays,” said Walters.
Walters wants to become client’s regular exterior cleaning service company.
“I suggest pressure washing every year. I’m already starting to get repeat customer calls from accounts I serviced last spring,” said Walters.
More information about Nozzle Nose can be found at nozzlenose.com and can be reached at 489-3604. The operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Walters offers free estimates for all accounts, usually within two to three days of request.
