BurgerfilogoSteve Lieber, Global Brand Ambassador and Director of Franchise Sales for BURGERFI, explained the three simple keys to success in the hamburger business: “Hot, juicy burgers, crispy crunchy fries, and a clean restaurant.”

BURGERFI  recently opened a new location in Tampa on Howard near Swann Ave. A winner of multiple awards, including the Trip Advisor Award of Excellence 2014 and Business Financials Top 15 of 2014, the restaurant sells natural burgers and hot dogs.

Natural burgers, Lieber explained, are something that nobody is offering except BURGERFI. The restaurant only uses beef from cows that are fed grass, corn and alfalfa, and are never the subjects of steroids, hormones or anitbodies.

Their black angus beef is served in a variety of ways: the BURGERFI Cheeseburger which is a double cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and the BURGERFI secret sauce; the Breakfast All Day Burger, with hickory bacon, maple syrup, hash brown and a fried egg; and the Twenty Eight, a 28-day, dry-aged, ground brisket burger, highlighted with Swiss and bleu cheese.

BURGERFI also sports the VEGEFI burger on its menu. The veggie burger is a big hit at BURGERFI, said Lieber. He explained that one in eight burgers sold at the restaurant are a VEGEFI burger.

In addition to burgers, BURGERFI sells a selection of hot dogs. Ranging from Texas to New York and Chicago style dogs, hot dogs are served with any or all of the works: sauerkraut, chili, cheese, onion, relish and peppers. BURGERFI even offers Chicken Apple Dog.

If enough room is left for dessert, BURGERFI brandishes its frozen custard, and brings customers such treats as Red Velvet Concrete – red velvet cake smothered with vanilla custard. Lieber encouraged anyone who hadn’t tried a milkshake with their burger to do so immediately.

BURGERFI, now with 69 locations, is quickly expanding. Lieber explained that they will grow to 100 by the end of the year, and hope to open 75 more next year. The location in Tampa is open for business; for more information visit www.burgerfi.com.
