Sandi Patty Returning To Bell Shoals Baptist Church For Celebration Concert

Concert Highlights:

Christian music’s most decorated female vocalist, Sandi Patty, is making preparations for a return to the Tampa Bay area as a part of her patriotic tour, “A Celebration of Faith, Family & Freedom.”  The community is invited to join in an evening of celebration, praise and worship on Thursday, July 2 at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, located at 2102 Bell Shoals Rd. in Brandon. The concert will feature patriotic anthems, American songbook treasures, timeless hymns and a collection of Patty’s most requested sacred classics.

“With a music and production cast of over 300, this is a major production and a first-of-its-kind concert for Sandi Patty,” stated Jason Millsaps, worship pastor of Bell Shoals Baptist Church.  “We invite everyone in the Brandon community, Tampa Bay and throughout the state to join us in this special evening.”

Known as “The Voice of Christian Music,” Patty has sold over 12 million albums worldwide, has received five Grammy Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, and a record 40 GMA Dove Awards, including female vocalist of the year 11 consecutive years.  Recently inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, Patty’s distinctive voice continues to be the standard on which other performers are measured.

“I am so excited to return to Bell Shoals Baptist Church and the Tampa Bay area.  This concert is a new format for me. We will start with many great patriotic anthems and celebrate together our independence as a nation. As part of the celebration, I will share a few songs from the greatest of American composers,” said Patty.  “The second half of the concert will feature sacred songs that really speak to the heart of the church. We will sing some of the old hymns along with some new praise songs – blended with some of the classics that have been requested throughout the years.”

Patty, the choir and orchestra are planning a special recognition for the individuals and families that serve this great nation.

“I’m thankful for every opportunity I have to share my faith through word and music,” said Patty.  “To share the evening with such an incredible cast of musicians as we celebrate our independence is very exciting. I hope you will join us.”

Doors open for early entrance ticketholders at 6 p.m.  General admission doors open at 6:30 p.m.  Should the concert not sell out, tickets will be available at the door at 6:30 p.m. for $25.  Early entrance tickets will not be available at the door.

A Celebration of Faith, Family & Freedom with Sandi Patty will also be held in the Orlando area on Sunday, June 28 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Oveido.  Patty will also perform the concert at First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs on Tuesday, June 30 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at www.AttendStar.com or by calling Narrow Gate Productions at (502) 262-4902.
