The Internet runs slowly. The computer struggles when multiple programs are open. Pop-ups take over your browsing sessions. A hard-drive unexpectedly crashes. PC users know these issues all too well. Thankfully Joseph LaViola, owner of RoLaV Computers, wants to help.
LaViola started RoLaV Computers with a mission to support the average home user through service and education. After over 25 years in the computer industry, LaViola brings a wealth of knowledge from his experience with technical and desktop support as well as network administration and engineering. Frustrated with the high prices and impersonal service of big box stores, LaViola prides himself on being able to offer that “extra bit of service where I make [the customer] feel more comfortable in explaining what I did in layman’s terms.”
It all starts with a home visit. When a customer calls with a computer complaint, LaViola makes a house call to gather information, evaluate the issue, and inform the client of his or her options. Often, LaViola will take the machine back to his home office for further diagnostics and repairs, but keeping the customer in the loop is very important at every step in the process.
Cindy Quiroz, a client for three years, said, “Through my experience with working with Mr. LaViola, I realized that he is an honest and forthright person with whom I could trust doing business. He will not cut corners either and has gladly answered any questions I have had concerning my computer and explains things very thoroughly.”
RoLaV Computers specializes in PC hardware repair, including computer rebuilding and customization; desktop imaging; software installation; home network and Internet troubleshooting; and the removal of malware and spyware. Furthermore, LaViola offers private in-home training sessions in which he helps users learn basic computing skills.
LaViola’s passion for what he does stems from his very close family who instilled a love for helping others within him.
“It’s just rewarding in the sense that I provide a niche service for which my clients do not have to pay a lot of money,” said LaViola.
RoLaV Computers services Tampa, Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, Sun City Center, and SouthShore. Contact LaViola for an appointment or for information at 671-0192 or netmgr78@hotmail.com.
