Since 2004 at its opening, Savannah Court of Brandon Assisted Living Residence has provided quality care and compassionate service for the elderly throughout the community. With a passionate staff and home environment, each resident is well taken care of.
Executive Director of 11 years Rhonda Fournier has worked in the home since the beginning and proudly describes the wonderful features of Savannah Court.
“We have exercise programs every morning, outings once a month and entertainment once a week,” she shared. “Last week, we took them to see the manatees at the outlook.”
Now housing 46 happy residents, the facility has a squeaky clean reputation as well. In its biannual survey in 2009, Savannah Court was reported to have no deficiencies, and have kept that record in every survey since.
“That’s unheard of,” Fournier marveled. “We’re blessed to have had no deficiencies for the past eight years and look forward to continually providing quality care for our residents.”
Fournier’s goal as director is to run the facility so that she would be proud and eager to bring her own mother there. She strives to treat all residents with the same love and respect she has for her mom, which no doubt lends to Savannah Court’s success.
The majority of the staff of 24 has longevity on their side, as well, with some who have worked for the business for nine and 10 years.
“They put their heart and soul in it and they know what they’re doing,” continued Fournier.
The hospitable community also features four levels of care, so it can meet the needs of each resident as they progress.
