Puppy Palace Opening in April
The newest Puppy Palace location is set to open in April at 802. E. Lumsden Rd.in Brandon. Owner George Conda will offer doggie daycare, boarding and grooming. Dogs will have the opportunity to play outside, swim and be with other dog friends. Puppy Palace will also groom the dogs to look their best. Hours of operation will be Monday – Friday 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Gentle Yoga at the Market
This evening class is a designed to get you outdoors breathing fresh air. Yoga is a series of basic movements and stretch to help release tension, build strength and create balance. The class is for beginners and is taught by Jenna Clay from Lucky Cat Yoga. No experience necessary. Bring a yoga mat or blanket, wear comfortable clothes and come one evening. Brandon Hospital Expands Access to Pediatric Surgical Services
Brandon Regional Hospital, an HCA West Florida hospital, expanded its pediatric program and collaboration with All Children’s Specialty Physicians, adding two pediatric general surgeons to its medical staff. All Children’s Specialty Physicians Dr. Drew Rideout and Dr. Henry Chang will help provide 24 hour access to pediatric surgical care, as well as bring the highest-level of pediatric surgical expertise closer to home for children in the Brandon area. Brandon Regional Hospital is also adding a dedicated pediatric ER entrance as part of its emergency room expansion project, with construction slated for completion in 2017. Fuzzy’s Taco Shop’s Opens Second Florida Location
The franchisees bringing the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop concept to Brandon and Tampa Bay are brothers and Tampa natives Ian and Adam Lieberman and Adam’s wife, J-Ray Lieberman. They plan to open four more Fuzzy’s Taco Shops in the area over the next couple of years, with plans for their next location to be near USF. Fuzzy’s Taco Shop operates as a “fast-casual” restaurant, where patrons order at the counter and retrieve their food shortly after ordering. Almost all food is prepared in house.
