Worx 24 Hour Fitness is proud to be celebrating its fifth anniversary. Worx 24 Hour Fitness originally opened as Fitness Worx 24/7 in March 2011. Owners Jim and Maryam English have expanded the fitness center three times since its opening and have plans to expand further later this year. During their latest expansion at the end of last year, the English’s renovated the gym with all new cardio equipment, a face-lift and updated bathrooms. The facility is now 6,000 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art equipment to get gym-goers in the best shape of their life.
The gym is fully-equipped with all of the latest equipment including cardio, free weights, TRX, punching bags and Hammer Strength equipment as well as others. It is open 24 hours per day and staffed from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturdays. Members receive an electronic key upon signing to enter the gym during non-staff hours.
The husband and wife fitness team are both personal trainers at the gym and have extensive experience in the fitness industry. There are also five additional independent personal trainers on staff, ensuring that a trainer is available to fit anyone’s needs. They welcome everyone with any fitness experience, goals or needs while promoting confidence and unsurpassed results in a friendly way.
A second location is also being planned. Jim and Maryam are scouting the Apollo Beach area as a possible location and will update the public once a decision is made.
“We owe a big ‘thank you’ to our community for their support. We are not some big corporation you’re supporting and financing one of the CEO’s vacation homes. Instead you’re supporting a family owned and operated small business and putting food on our table and shoes on our two little girls’ feet and for that we are very grateful,” said Maryam.
