A couple’s wedding day is one of the most important days of their lives and picking the perfect venue is challenging in itself. Just in the Riverview area is an event venue built in 2011 with the locals in mind called The Regent. It’s available for not-for-profit events, high school prom and homecomings, and weddings.

This venue’s neutral coloring is designed to mesh with the wants and needs of the clients while still standing out with Victorian style elements such as the beautifully architectured statues seen in one of its ballrooms.

Couples’ are given the choice to have just their reception or their ceremony and reception at the Regent. The venue offers its outdoor courtyard, terrace, and ballrooms, designed to hold a 250 people wedding party with abilities to combine the two ballrooms for larger weddings, for ceremonies and receptions.

The venue is run by Executive Director Julie Juteau, Event Coordinator Natalie Bailey, and Event Manager Christina Smith. They are available to help plan the ideal wedding that corresponds to the venue. Their involvement in a wedding planning depends on the clients’ needs.

“We are as involved or removed as a client wants us to be,” Juteau said. “We work together to make it happen.”

According to Juteau, they make great connections with their clients’ during the process and will even come back to have baby showers. The Regent team gets the chance to connect with their clients’ during the entire process while contributing to making a couple’s special day a reality.

“The connections we make leading up to a bride and groom’s wedding day make it an emotional day for me,” Juteau said. “It’s a happy day that we are able to help contribute to.”

The Regent is located at 6437 Watson Rd. in Riverview. For pricing or booking for wedding ceremonies and receptions, visit www.experiencetheregent.com or call 571-2494.
