With the holiday season fast approaching, you will not want to miss the GFWC Brandon Service League’s Annual Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can tour three impressively decorated homes. You may even get some great ideas and start some new traditions of your own.
This year’s tour will showcase three whimsical and beautifully decorated homes located in Valrico near Sydney Rd., in Riverview just off of Gibsonton Dr. and in Valrico near Pearson Rd. Bradlee Swanson, President of the GFWC Brandon Service League said, “These homes were selected because of the different styles that are representative of the owners. Contemporary, traditional and antique are the basic themes of these homes and the owners are sure to play up each style with their holiday décor.”
Swanson added, “There are lots of wonderful things about this tour. Each home is very different so there is something for everyone. Traditional trees paired with specialty themes, DIY projects, antiques and Christmas fun are all part of this year’s tour.”
Tickets to the Holiday Home Tour are just $20. Tickets are available at TMarie’s Fashion and Gift Boutique, Essentials Massage, Facial and Spa, The Green Boutique and at Greg’s Hallmark. You can also purchase a ticket from a Brandon Service League member.
Ticket holders will have the opportunity to shop at the GFWC Brandon Service League’s Holiday Gourmet Booth and in “Ghosts of Christmas Past.” Swanson said, “These are two of the most popular extras on the tour. Our members are fabulous bakers which makes the gourmet booth a must see spot on the tour. The ‘Ghosts of Christmas Past is rapidly becoming a popular stop as well. We feature all varieties of pre-owned and gently loved Christmas decorations at very reasonable prices.”
In addition, the GFWC Brandon Service League will be offering hand-made Christmas ornaments for sale at the refreshment booth located in one of the decorated houses. All proceeds from the GFWC Brandon Service League’s Annual Holiday Home Tour are given to Brandon area non-profits and to Brandon area high school art programs.
