Bay Life Church will host four services on Easter weekend. Pastor Mark Saunders will be speaking on Jesus’ journey to the cross and his resurrection in a sermon titled, Best Week Ever. Cornerstone Baptist Church will celebrate Easter Sunday with an outside early morning worship service on Sunday, April 16 at 7 a.m. Then at 10 a.m., another worship service will be held in the sanctuary. The church is located at 818 N. Parsons Ave. in Brandon.
The Crossing Church will observe Good Friday with a service on Friday, April 14 at 7 p.m. at the Tampa campus. This particular service combines both campuses for a time to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus and take communion together. The Crossing will hold weekend services at both campuses with its Hope Is Alive Easter production. The Crossing invites you to bring family and friends to hear the story of Jesus’ Resurrection through dramatic storytelling, media, lights and a special message from Lead Pastor Greg Dumas. First Presbyterian Church of Brandon will hold a Maundy Thursday Service on April 13 at 7 p.m. and a Good Friday Service on April 14 at 7 p.m. On Sunday, April 16, the church will hold an Easter sunrise service at 6:45 a.m. and other services at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. The church is located 121 Carver Ave. in Brandon.
First United Methodist Church of Seffner will celebrate Easter on April 16 at 7 a.m. with a sunrise service, followed by a continental breakfast in the Fellowship Hall. Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church will observe Good Friday, on April 14 at 7 p.m. with the reading of the Passion of Christ narratives and a time of prayer for the church and the world. On Saturday, April 15 at 7 p.m., the church will hold an Easter Vigil service. The four-part service will include the service of light, the service of readings, the service of baptism and the service of Holy Communion. On Sunday, April 16 at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., the church will celebrate Christ with Scripture reading and music. The 10:30 a.m. service will include music by the parish choir. New Hope United Methodist Church will celebrate Palm Sunday with a special musical program, featuring its full choir and orchestra at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. On Maundy Thursday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m., the church will do a worship service with communion.
