If you’re looking for a fresh twist on the classic dishes of North and South Vietnam, do not look any further than Pho Viet, a restaurant devoted to introducing Vietnamese cuisine to the Brandon area. Sitting at 1202 W. Brandon Blvd., near where an old Pizza Hut used to be, the location promises a relaxed dining experience that is only enhanced by the friendly staff as they offer customers a cultural experience through the variety of dishes offered.
After getting his start in the culinary business as a chef at his family’s restaurant, Pho Viet owner Thienan Pham decided that it was time to take the risk of opening his own spot. “My sister owned a restaurant,” Pham explained how he got into the business, “But it was my friend who encouraged me to open a place for myself.” Since the opening of Pho Viet, as well as throughout his entire career, Pham has never stopped striving towards being the best option when it comes to satisfying the craving for an authentic Vietnamese meal. “I focus on bringing higher quality food to my customers,” Pham told of his goal.
While it may be impossible for Pham to choose his own favorite item from the menu, he does recommend that new customers try the very dish the establishment his named after; the Pho Soup. “I use beef because it has a good flavor,” Pham gave a short summary of what makes his Pho the best, “It’s also healthier than most options.”
Although foodies can only find Pho Viet in Brandon, Pham does aspire to expand his business so that more people will be able to enjoy his healthy approach to Vietnamese cuisine. “I’m still looking for the right locations,” Pham spoke of finding the right fit for his business.
To savor the best Vietnamese cuisine that Brandon has to offer, visit Pho Viet Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. The establishment is also open from Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. as well as on Sunday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
Pho Viet is located on 1202 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
