The Riverview Library will be holding special summer youth programming with a lineup that promises to appeal to everyone:
Paper Cutter Projects: Monday, June 12 – 3-4 p.m. – An electronic cutting machine like the Silhouette Cameo can help you create amazing projects with paper and vinyl. Cutting materials will be supplied. Ages 8-14.
Wonders of Nature Wildlife Show: Wednesday, June 14 – 2:30-3:30 p.m. and 4-5 p.m. This live wildlife show links humor with audience participation to deliver lessons on conservation. Grades K-5.
Read on the Go with myON®: Thursday, June 15 – 2-3 p.m. – The myON® Street Team hosts interactive activities that encourage collaboration and reading. Limit of 25, so please register at the Library Service Desk or phone number noted above. Grades K-5.
Summer Movie @ the Library – Guardians of the Galaxy: Saturday, June 17 – 2-4:30 p.m. – beat the heat and enjoy a movie on the library’s big screen. Rated PG-13. 121 minutes.

3D Printing: Monday, June 19 – 3-4p – Have fun with 3D modeling and printing. Learn about the 3D printing process, see a demo of the printer in action and learn to use Tinkercad to create your own 3D objects. Ages 8-14.
Mad Science Super Hero Science: Wednesday, June 21 – 2-3:30 p.m. Unmask super hero powers with science! Presented by Mad Science. Grades K-5.
Family Game Time: Thursday, June 22 – 2:30-3:30 p.m. – Come play board games both new and old. Connect 4, Operation, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Monopoly, and much more. A variety of board games and one “life sized” board game will be featured each month. All Children.
Black Art: Tuesday, June 27 – 3:30-4:30 p.m. – Black Light Art – Unmask your inner darkness by creating a glowing work of art to take home. Grades 6-12.
Magic & Mayhem’s Worlds of Magic: Thursday, June 29 – 2:30-3:30 p.m. – “Choose your own adventure” that combines storytelling, magic and impromptu comedy. Stay for a special appearance from ChaChing the Amazing Bunny! A live action show by Magic and Mayhem. Grades K-5.
