Providing high-quality dental care in a stress-free environment is the motto at Oakfield Dental, which Dr. Amir Boules opened in 2016.
“We offer a patient-focused approach and passion to make dentistry something comfortable and even enjoyable, rather than something to be feared,” said Dr. Boules. “We believe that a child’s early experiences at the dental office is formative in setting the person up for dental health in the future and one of our greatest joys is seeing a dental-phobic patient little by little become less fearful of seeing the dentist.”
From the moment guests enter the office, from the coffee and tea bar to essential oil diffusers to full-wall windows with views of plants and birds in each room; it is obvious that the goal is to create a comfortable environment.
“Our biggest asset is our team, whom I hand-picked for their attention to detail, compassion and genuine desire to help others,” he added.
Adding to all of that, Oakfield Dental also offers Saturday appointments from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. “We chose to open on Saturdays because we work ourselves and know how inconvenient it is to take off a day of work for a doctor’s appointment,” Dr. Boules explained.
Services available include general, cosmetic, preventative and restorative dentistry as well as extractions and implants. “We believe in not only getting patients to healthier teeth, but also to a more confident smile,” he said adding that the office also offers Zoom Whitening, which is an in-office whitening treatment that gives instant results; Minor Tooth Movement (MTM); and, Invisalign, which use clear trays to straighten teeth.
The office is completely digital, including x-rays, which minimizes radiation exposure to the patient.
While Dr. Boules has been busy with his new practice over the past year, he also recently married his wife Melanie, who he met in dental school. She is joining the practice on Fridays and brings with her, her experience working with children as well as with Invisalign.
Oakfield Dental is located at 1457 Oakfield Dr. Hours are Monday-Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays are nicknamed “Kid Friendly Friday.” Although the office sees children every day of the week, on Fridays, the staff decorates the office to be more comfortable to its young friends.
