The New Year is an exciting time at Artisan Aesthetics Plastic Surgery and Laser Center. The group, which has locations in Riverview and Tampa, recently added three staff members and a new treatment to help local’s look and feel their best.
Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon Doctor Stan Castor, who has more than 15 years of experience in cosmetic plastic surgery, welcomed Billie Jo Yost, R.N., Carlye James and Megan Hall to the practice recently.
Yost, a FishHawk resident and military wife, is the operating and recovery room nurse at Artisan Aesthetics. She has a bachelor of science in nursing from Hawaii Pacific University and has more than 19 years of experience in the ICU and PACU. Her husband is a Marine, so Yost has had the opportunity to help patients all over the country from Hawaii, California and Nevada to Virginia, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
As the front office administrator, James is a patient’s initial contact with the Artisan Aesthetics team as she schedules appointments, greets all incoming patients and performs administrative responsibilities. The Florida native earned a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Florida’s College of Public Health in addition to being trained as a certified nursing assistant and first responder. She is currently studying to attend graduate school to become a Physician Assistant.
Hall brings 10 years of experience in the surgical field to her new position as the group’s surgical coordinator.
“Megan coordinates all of the surgeries booked here,” said Castor. “She is dedicated to making each patient’s experience a positive one, and the level of customer service in addition to her dedication and compassion to our patients is her number one priority.”
Castor, himself a native Floridian with a wife and three children and degrees from Florida Southern College, the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, is also excited about the new Cellfina Cellulite Reduction treatment offered at his offices.
“This machine uses a micro needle to cut through fibers under the skin that are causing cellulite dimples on the thighs and buttocks,” said Castor.
