Krazy Kup, an authentic European/Greenwich Village inspired coffee house, is located at 101 EJ Arden Mays Blvd. in historic downtown Plant City. In addition to serving up delicious espresso drinks, baked goods and wraps, Krazy Kup offers a fantastic venue for live music, especially for young, emerging musicians.
On Friday nights from 6:33 to 8:33 p.m., Krazy Kup offers Christian genre music. On the first Friday of each month, you can catch a lively Christian Music Jam. On Saturday nights from 8:33 to 10:33 p.m. Krazy Kup offers all genre of music. On the first Saturday of each month, you can join in on a Bluegrass Jam. The Jams are an opportunity for musicians to come together, make music and have fun.
Bands who come to Krazy Kup can repeat three times per year.
Krazy Kup is owned and operated by Frank and Wenda Trunzo. They have owned Krazy Kup for almost five years. Krazy Kup was named the 2018 Business of the Year by the Plant City Chamber of Commerce.
It was a dream of Frank and Wenda’s to open an authentic coffee house. “When we saw the building, we were not sure what to do with the second floor,” said Frank. They dreamed of having a place like the ones where such as Bob Dylan got their start. Frank has a background in music, so they decided to use the second floor to give young musicians a venue where they could perform.
Several bands, including DBMK and Jenny Weaver got their start at Krazy Kup. “We are blessed to be able to provide this venue,” said Frank. “This is such a great place to hear local talent.”
