Come see what the ‘doggone’ excitement is all about at Dog Gone Holistic’s 10-year-anniversary celebration on Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m.-6 pm. at both its FishHawk and Riverview stores. Owners Darrel Day and Robert Benscoter are excited about celebrating this milestone event with their customers and the community.
“This event is really about giving back to our many loyal customers,” said Day. “We’re so grateful for their continued support and for helping us spread the word that there are better high-quality foods and products available for pets.”
The FishHawk location originally opened on May 5, 2008. Day and Benscoter purchased the FishHawk store in February 2015. They were avid pet people for many years, dreaming of starting their own pet business and when the opportunity arose to buy Dog Gone Holistic they knew they had found their calling.
Customers love Dog Gone Holistic for its strong customer service and a wide selection of holistic and natural pet food, supplements, treats and other pet products at a reasonable price. In fact, Dog Gone Holistic created such a trusted reputation in the FishHawk community, they launched a second store in in Riverview in August 2016 and it has quickly gained a large and loyal following.
“We work really hard to sort this out for pet parents and make the proper recommendations,” said Day.
Both locations are participating in At the 10th anniversary sale where pet parents will find at least 10 percent off all dog and cat foods as well a 15 percent off everything else store-wide. In addition, several vendors will be at the store to talk about products and handing out free samples.
“We will be introducing many new products and some new services for busy pet parents this fall,” said Day. “We’re really excited about what the future holds for us and Dog Gone Holistic.”
