It provides a high-impact challenge to the stabilizing muscles of the core through low-impact and full-body workoutsutilizing a variety of specialized equipment such as the EXO-Chair, Barre and more.

Owner Zach Schlobohm established the Club Pilates Valrico location on April 19 of this year. This franchise first began operating in San Diego, CA in 2007. With its expansion across the nation, Club Pilates has served more than 2.2 million workouts to its members since 2016. Nearly 30 open studios can be found in Florida and more than 300 nationwide. The Valrico location is considered one of the fastest growing Club Pilates studios in the United States as it reached more than 400 members within the first three months of being open.

“We believe Pilates is a total body workout that can help everyone achieve some part or all of their fitness goals,” Zach said.

Club Pilates Valrico came into fruition because Schlobohm’s wife Sarah Schlobohm spoke highly of pilates and and he heard the same feedback from her friends. The Schlobohm’s reside in Lakeland and a Pilates reformer studio does not exist there. A friend and business partner of Zach’s approached him with the franchise opportunity and decided to build a studio.

This 2,400 sq. ft. studio offers seven signature class formats and four levels of classes that range from beginner to advanced. People can also take a free introductory class to gain a better insight of Pilates. It also provides group class membership classes with prices varying.

“Overall, we look forward to expanding our Pilates family in Valrico for many years to come,” Zach said.
